The Relics of St. Bernadette visited Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Mineral Wells, Texas from July 20 - July 22, 2022. Over 3000 people visited to experience the beauty of Lourdes, France here in the United States.
Parishioners were in awe that this was happening. Father Souza, Pastor, was honored to have the relics.
People came from Columbia, Mexico and Puerto Rico, as well as surrounding states and they were very touched by the welcoming atmosphere and kindness shown by the parish.
"The entire parish pulled together to get ready for the visit with St. Bernadette's relics," shares Marla Trevino, Business Manager for Our Lady of Lourdes, Mineral Wells, TX. "It was an incredible experience, and you could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit," continues Trevino. "Over 3000 people participated in Masses, the processions and venerating the relics. We were so proud and honored to have St. Bernadette with us."
